P E A C E

I know this post is a little late... but in my mind-better late then never! (right?!)

International Peace Day was Septembe 21st this year and I'm sure schools all around the world celebrated- each in their own way.

We celebrated by making hand print peace doves (idea from pinterest), reading Our Peaceful Classroom by: Aline D. Wolf, writing down what peace "meant" to us, and of course singing Light a Candle for Peace.

I know that we should make EVERYDAY Peace Day- but I think we can start one day at a time...
